Principled innovation in hiring

Principled innovation in hiring

We, in the Office of Scholarship and Innovation (OofSI), have never been big fans of the typical interview and hiring process. We are not sure that the process helps us identify the right people, and more importantly, we find the process to be unnecessarily opaque and...

On writing less badly

I just came across an article in the Chronicle of Higher Education titled, 10 tips on How to Write Less Badly [H/T Geekpress]. It is not that I agreed with every point being made there but a couple of them (To become a writer, write!; Find a voice, don't just get...

A couple of TPACK related updates. First, the outdated tpck.org has been replaced by the more up-to-date and more appropriate TPACK.org. [The tpck.org site hasn't really gone away, but we plan to phase it out over time]. Second, we keep getting requests for the TPCK...

This was a very timely post. I have recently been discussing technology integration with the art teacher at my school. She would like to incorporate more tech but is at a loss as to how to go about it. The slide presentation will be very helpful in generating ideas. I will also be encouraging her to subscribe to Camille’s wiki. PS: Our conversations have also been a good opportunity to talk about TPACK.
