CREATIVITY
I make things: ambigrams, palindromic poetry, mathematical verse, clerihews, videos, photographs, visual wordplay. Some of these sit at the intersection of mathematics and art. Others are just play. All of them involve the same thing my research does: finding what happens when you take a constraint seriously and push until something surprising emerges.
What I make

Visual Wordplay
Ambigrams, language art, 3D words, and typographic designs. Words and images playing with symmetry, form, and meaning.

AI Experiments
Explorations at the intersection of generative AI and creative practice. New tools, new questions, new surprises.

Better or Verse
Palindromic poems, mathematical verse, clerihews, and academic parodies. Constraint-based writing where the rules generate the art.

Photo Shoots
Photographs and photomosaics built from hundreds of smaller images. A computational art form hiding in plain sight.

Moving Image
From seventeen years of New Year family videos to classroom experiments. Playful, pedagogical, sometimes both.

Thinking about Creating
The research behind the practice. What is creativity, how does it work, and how does it connect to learning?
